About A Christian’s Conversation
If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange apples then you and I will still each have one apple. But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas.
– George Bernard Shaw (1856-1950)
Welcome to our blog!
We are a platform of voice for all, regardless of religion, faith, gender and color and believe that only through effective conversation, can the similarities and differences in idea become a foundation of understanding and framework of dialogue, in order to achieve tolerance of all.
Colossians 4:6 – “Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one …”
ACC is a place of Love, Peace and most of all Grace! Ours is not to condemn nor disrespect. We invite YOU to be a part of our conversation. All are welcome!
To our contributors and fellow bloggers, we welcome you to engage us into your conversations. Provoke our minds and hearts to truth and knowledge. We ask that as you do, that you further teach us by sharing your references of proof and source. You are the backbone of ACC.
To our readers and visitors, we hope that you enjoy our conversations. You are the reason that we exist. You represent “the other voice” in the conversation with us. You listen and hear us. When you make a comment, you encourage others to participate in dialogue. Stay in touch with us and let us know you are there.
While we believe that conversation involves not only the mind, but body and soul, we also believe that
A Christian’s Conversation ™, involves knowledge of Jesus Christ.
As it is with most conversations, we may not always agree, but that is ok, as there is also understanding in disagreement. This is a mature conversation. We encourage healthy debate and engagement, never hostility.
How do you engage us? Simply choose a conversation that you want to be a part of. If you do not see one that interests you, please contact us about adding it. We are an ever evolving conversation!
Thanks for checking us out!
1 Peter 3:8 – “Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous…”
